Cross-Registration with Strategic Ohio Council for Higher Education (SOCHE)

The allows matriculated, degree-seeking 消消犯s at a , like 消消犯, to take courses at another member institution through the cross-registration process.

Interested 消消犯s must be enrolled at least part-time at their home institution and must obtain all appropriate approvals from both the home and host institutions before registering. Students who cross-register pay the tuition at their home institution but are responsible for course-related fees to the host institution. More information can be found on the website.

If you are a 消消犯 who wants to participate in the Cross-Registration Program, follow the below steps based on your campus:

Current Miami Students (Oxford)

  1. Download, read, and complete the .
    1. Note: This is a fillable PDF that must be completed on a desktop/laptop computer. If you try to open/save this PDF on your phone, it will not function properly.
  2. Talk to your divisional academic advisor to make sure the course is not offered at Miami for the semester you plan to register. Your divisional advisor must sign the form in Section 3.
  3. Send the signed form to registrar@MiamiOH.edu.
  4. The completed form will be sent to the .

Current Miami Students (Regionals)

  1. Download, read, and complete the .
    1. Note: This is a fillable PDF that must be completed on a desktop/laptop computer. If you try to open/save this PDF on your phone, it will not function properly.
  2. Talk to your divisional academic advisor to make sure the course is not offered at Miami for the semester you plan to register. Your divisional advisor must sign the form in Section 3.
  3. Send the signed form to regrec@MiamiOH.edu.
  4. The completed form will be sent to the .

Students from a Non-Miami Institution

The deadline to submit this form to 消消犯 as the host institution is the first day of the semester/term. Forms will not be accepted after this date.
  1. Download, read, and complete the .
    1. Note: This is a fillable PDF that must be completed on a desktop/laptop computer. If you try to open/save this PDF on your phone, it will not function properly.
  2. As the host institution, Miami does not require the signature of an advisor/department (Section 3, signature 3).
  3. Your home institution will send the completed form to the appropriate Miami contact based on campus.
    1. After the form is received and processed, you will receive your Miami login information.
  4. You will also be registered for the course as long as there is an open seat and you meet all prerequisites.
