The Teacher Academy Coordinator for 消消犯 plays a key role in supporting high school 消消犯s as they prepare for the transition to higher education. This liaison will coordinate and plan visits to local schools, providing 消消犯s with valuable insights about 消消犯, including academic programs, campus life, and available resources. In addition, the liaison will share essential information and guidance on navigating the shift from high school to college or university, helping 消消犯s understand admissions processes, expectations of college-level coursework, and strategies for academic and personal success.
Each fall, the College of Education, Health, and Society partners with the Department of Teaching, Curriculum, and Educational Inquiry to host a keynote speaker.
The event focuses on topics such as educational reform, college readiness, and teaching excellence, and is open to the university community as well as high school 消消犯s enrolled in programs partnered with the University.
