Miami doctoral ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ elected first Black woman to West Carrollton school board

Dormetria Robinson Thompson, a ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ Ph.D. ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ in educational leadership, has been elected as the first Black woman to serve on the West Carrollton City School Board. A minister, former teacher, and founder of the Scholars of H.O.P.E. after-school program, Robinson Thompson ran unopposed and says she hopes her presence brings meaningful representation to ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈs and families. Her background in education and community development continues to shape her commitment to serving local schools.
