¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ organization hosts one of the largest ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ-run fashion shows in the nation on April 25 at 7 p.m. in Millett Hall.
MUF&D’s Allure will be held in Millet Hall at 7 p.m. on April 25, with doors opening at 5 p.m. This season, the show is composed of 22 designers, 87 models, 23 assistants, and a 15-member executive board. With an expected attendance of more than 2,000, this year’s fashion show is expected to be one of the largest the organization has conducted.
To MUF&D, Allure pays homage to the drama of the traditional runway. The 20th Annual Show will bring to life a daring, captivating feeling, full of energy. This year’s show captures what everyone’s been talking about, but few have truly seen: the chaos, the love, the behind-the-scenes reality that fuels the spectacle.
“To outsiders, the Annual Fashion Show may just be a show,” said vice president Audrey Fitzgerald. “To us, it’s a movement. Once you’ve seen it, you don’t forget it. And once you’ve lived it, you never stop feeling it. For two decades, MUF&D has embodied ‘Allure,’ undeniable, magnetic, and impossible to ignore.”
MUF&D operates as the primary fashion organization on campus under the College of Creative Arts and the Farmer School of Business. MUF&D provides members opportunities to discover the fashion industry through PR/Marketing, Event Planning, Design, Photography, Modeling, Business Development, Finance, and Graphic Design. Allure is open to the public. Doors open at 5 p.m., inviting guests to explore a pre-show experience, featuring a mix of local shops and well-loved brands, while immersing visitors in the world of Allure. Attendees are invited to wear semi-formal attire in black, white, or any shade of red. General admission tickets are $35 and can be purchased . The fashion show takes place at Millet Hall, 500 E.
